The Festival store is expanding. Now anyone who is registered for the
weekend is
invited to
register for a place in the store. Space is limited to
forty vendors.
Should you wish to participate as a vendor, please fill out the
Festival
Store
registration form located on the web site or in the booklet. Please
return
the
form with your registration for the weekend. Include a fee of $15.00 to cover
organizational costs. Anyone who registers for the Festival Store will be notified via phone or email if
she is able to participate. Selection is based on space and diversity of merchandise.
Guidelines
As a vendor in the store, it is important to be aware of the following guidelines. These guidelines are in place to maximize the organization of set-up and teardown of the store. They are also in place to protect vendor items, as much as possible, and facilitate the ease of sale.
- At the weekend, all vendors are to submit a list of items for sale to our store facilitator, Kelly McGarrell. Include the price of each item beside that item. Kelly will use this list to keep track of your sales.
- Record the price of your item and your name on a sticky dot. Make sure that the prices are on all the items you wish to sell prior to arrival on Friday afternoon. These items will be compared to the list, which you have provided Kelly. Ticketing your items must occur prior to set-up in the store. You will then be directed to your designated area to set-up
- When your item is purchased, the sticky dot with your name and item price will be removed and placed on the list you provided.
- Store will be cash only; we will not accept any cheques.
- Vendors will not be able to stay with their items while the store is open.
- Cash out will be done after lunch on Sunday afternoon. Anyone who has a conflict with this must speak with Kelly to make other arrangements prior to the weekend. Vendors will be given a specific time to come to the store to pick up their items and cash out.
The Festival store will be open during all breaks and at mealtime. It will be closed during seminars, and during opening and closing ceremonies.
When the store is closed the door will be locked and Kelly will have the key.
The women facilitating the weekend, including those women working in the store, will work diligently to ensure the safety of vendor merchandise. Unfortunately items are sometimes misplaced or stolen. We are not responsible for any misplaced or stolen items. As a potential vendor please keep this in mind.
It is our fervent hope that these small changes will provide more safety and organization surrounding the Festival Store. With improved efficiency we hope to provide for a more enjoyable shopping experience.

Thank you,
Elizabeth and Julie
